The second generation Volkswagen ID.3 will be unveiled early next year. Over half a million models of the car have been sold already and production is ramping up! ID.3 is currently made at VW’s plants in Zwickau and Dresden but come next year, production will expand to Wolfsburg as well.

First sketches of the second generation car have surfaced

Volkswagen started off by listening to what their customers wanted and based on the feedback, a more mature design and upgraded interior materials headline the improvements. With the interior upgrade comes a 12-inch screen, removable boot floor and two cupholders in the centre console.

Electric Vehicle Route Planner and Plug & Charge also come as standard to make travelling easier for drivers. Optional extras like Park Assist Plus and Travel Assist can now also be selected to complete the suite of assist systems for the ID.3.

Exterior design has been “matured” for the second generation car

There’s a special treat in store for German customers too who can pick from the pre-specified Life, Business, Style, Max and Tour models starting from this month! The ID.3 Life starts at 43,995 Euros with delivery expected mid to late 2023.
