At last weekend’s Silverstone Grand Prix, the Alfa Romeo Stake F1 Team featured a rather unusual decal on their cars. The decal was an announcement to F1 fans, celebrating the storied Italian brand’s standout performance in the recent J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study.
Research carried out by J.D. Power 2023 U.S. IQS (Initial Quality Study) proved that Alfa Romeo had made a massive leap over their 2022 results. J.D. Power is a worldwide leader in consumer rights, product data and analytics. They surveyed Alfa Romeo customers after 90 days of ownership regarding issues to do with their vehicles. Results of this are measured in PP100 or problems per 100 vehicles.
In the end, Alfa Romeo took the top spot among premium brands and ranked third in the automotive industry overall! That’s an increase of 24 places over their performance in 2022. This feat was the largest improvement in results of any car brand over the last 12 months. Credit to the Stelvio which also ranked highest in the premium compact SUV segment for the same.
