Porsche and Tag Heuer continue their rich history together with the launch of the new Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition. Inspired by the design of the new Taycan, the watch offers some exclusive features for Porsche owners!
The two brands formed an official partnership last year and have since launched a few watches with this being the latest. Connected Calibre E4 sees the inclusion of both design and software elements taken from the Taycan (see what I did there!). The watch face takes inspiration from both circuit boards and racing circuits, highlighting the values of performance and innovation that drive the two firms.
A black titanium face is highlighted with hints of ‘frozen blue’ as seen on the new Taycan. The dial includes a scale which goes from 0-400, representing the speedometer of a Porsche. The bezel is ceramic and the buttons offer a mechanical feel as expected from a high-end watch manufacturer with a history like Tag Heuer’s!
Owners of some Porsche models will be able to see their car’s vitals displayed on the face of their watch. These include the level of battery remaining, drivable range, distance travelled by the car as well as controls for the air conditioning! To activate these, owners need to have Porsche ID, Porsche Connect subscription and the My Porsche app on their watch & phone.
