Breitling will let owners of Aston Martin’s 999-unit Valhalla design their own Super Chronomat, choosing between a perpetual calendar chronograph and a 38mm automatic.
Buy a limited-run hypercar and some of the extras start coming from outside the factory. Breitling is Aston Martin’s official watch partner. It has now launched a bespoke Super Chronomat programme that only Valhalla owners can join.
This is the first time Breitling has let customers into the design process for one of its main collections. Owners use a dedicated configurator to build a watch based on their own car’s spec and their personal taste. Breitling has not published pricing.

A very short guest list
Getting in is the hard part. The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first series-production, mid-engined plug-in hybrid, and only 999 will be built worldwide.
A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 works with three electric motors to make a combined 1,079PS. Aston Martin claims 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 349km/h. It also says the car uses technology from Formula 1. So at most 999 people will ever be able to order one of these watches.
Two watches to choose from
Owners can choose from two models. The headline option is the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph. It has a 44mm titanium case on Breitling’s Rouleaux bracelet.
Few watches combine an automatic chronograph with a perpetual calendar. In practice, the calendar handles month lengths, moon phases and leap years. Breitling says it needs no major manual adjustment until 2100. The watch has a 96-hour power reserve, so it can sit unworn for four days and still keep the right time.
It has a carbon-fibre dial and a display caseback that shows the black rotor and the movement. The customisation options are:
- the colour of the rehaut (the inner ring around the dial)
- the colours of the seconds hand and counter hands
- a personalised rotor engraving
The second option is the Super Chronomat Automatic 38, which is smaller and dressier. It has a 38mm stainless-steel case, a Rouleaux bracelet, a textured carbon-fibre dial and a diamond-set bezel. It shows the time with three hands and has a date window at six o’clock. Owners can choose the colours of the rehaut and hands, and add a personalised caseback engraving.
Where the car comes in
Both watches have carbon dials, and that is the clearest link to the car. Breitling says they bring automotive performance materials to the wrist. It’s a neat link, though owners mostly personalise colours and engravings, not the watch’s mechanics.
Both brands also point to where their products are made. The Valhalla is built at Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The Super Chronomat is made at Breitling’s Chronométrie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
A club membership as well
Each watch buyer also gets a five-year membership to the Breitling Social Club. The private members’ club is in Williamsburg, New York, and should open in late 2027. Breitling says it will run hospitality, cultural events and other members-only experiences all year.
Aston Martin’s director of brand diversification, Stefano Saporetti, calls the scheme an extension of the ownership experience. That is a fair description. The Valhalla is limited to 999 cars, and this watch gives owners one more exclusive thing to buy once the car is in the garage.
