As part of their build-up to the launch of the new 7th generation Ford Mustang later this month, Ford are hosting several competitions and events for fans of the marque. One in particular is called the ‘Best ‘Stang Decade’ contest and it celebrates all six generations of the sportscar!
Ford encourages those who are attending ‘The Stampede’ to wear clothes that correspond to their favourite Mustang decade. A panel of judges from ‘Hour Detroit‘ magazine will then judge the costumes and select 12 finalists (two from each decade). The winner will receive a two year lease of the new Mustang GT while the runner up will receive an early drive in the Mustang with the second runner up earning hot laps in the new Mustang with a Ford Performance driver.
Ford’s Stampede will be broadcasted live from Hart Plaza in Detroit on September 14th and can be viewed across all the brand’s social channels. For more information on the premiere, click here.
