It’s called the Taycan Sport Turismo and it combines the practicality of the Cross Turismo with the ride height of the sedan. With a 1,200 litre boot and an extra 45mm of headroom for the taller adults, this estate version gives you plenty of practicality without losing the sporty essence of the Taycan.

The new model debuted this week at the LA Motor Show in its GTS guise and offers the perfect balance of sportiness and practicality as it sits between the 4S and Turbo trim lines. With 590bhp of pure electrical power on tap, the GTS will complete the 0-100 sprint in 3.7 seconds! Accompanied by Porsche’s Electric Sport Sound to give you a gentle reminder of the kind of acceleration this car packs.

The Taycan GTS Cross Turismo will then keep going rather quietly to 155mph. And with a range of 312 miles, it’s efficient at the charging station too! As is unique to Porsche’s GTS models, the car will come with black exterior highlights and a ‘Race-Tex’ interior. At the moment, there are no plans for a top spec GT model to be introduced to the Taycan range but we could see one in due time!
