Dubbed as “The Fully Electric Hyper GT, Emeya represents Lotus‘ first performance sedan since the Lotus Carlton hit the market in the early 1990s. Known as ‘Type 133’ during its development phase, the Emeya is the brand’s second electric offering following the Eletre SUV.
Styling elements come from the Eletre SUV and Evija hypercar while fans can expect Emeya to employ a similar electric architecture to that seen in the hyper SUV.
Prototypes have already been spotted on road in China near Lotus’ Technology site. Expect the Emeya to debut strongly in the Chinese as well as American markets. At five metres long, this will be the most luxurious car that Lotus has ever made!
Emeya will make its debut on September 7th, 2023.
