Ford New Zealand have confirmed that three models of the Mustang Mach E will be making their way here. Arriving in 2023, Kiwi buyers will be offered the RWD, AWD and GT AWD variants of the EV ‘Stang.

The rear wheel drive (RWD) Mach E has a 77.4kWh battery pack which offers 440 kilometres of WLTP range while the all wheel drive (AWD) variant has a 98.7kWh battery pack with 540 kilometres of WLTP range. The Mach E GT AWD on the other hand offers the same 98.7kWh battery with 500 kilometres of range but with improved performance.

Simon Rutherford, Managing Director of Ford NZ cited the Mach E’s tech and incredible performance as a particular standout of the electric Mustang.

Across the globe, 80% of Mustang Mach E buyers have actually moved from other brands to join the blue oval! The EV has also outsold the petrol Mustang 8:1 over the course of this year so far. Technical training is already underway for dealerships around the country as they prepare to receive orders for the Mach E.
