Only a few weeks ago, Swiss watchmaker H.Moser & Cie collaborated with Alpine F1 Team to launch a limited edition model of their Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon. This time, the two brands have come together once again to recreate that watch but in pink!

Dubbed the ‘H.Moser & Cie Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition Pink Livery’, the watch is a nod to the second livery of the BWT Alpine F1 Team’s racecar. Only 20 pieces will be made and these are available online at the H.Moser & Cie website.

The initial release of this watch in the blue hue was limited to 100 pieces. While the pink one is far rarer and features a main dial at 12 o’clock, domed sapphire crystal and a pink colour “enhanced by the clarity of the synthetic corundum.” The indices are Super-Luminova while other inserts are Globolight with the strap being pink moulded rubber. Featuring the calibre HMC 811 movement, the watch is skeletonised (transparent) on both the front and back. An extremely niche cylindrical balance spring spins at 6 o’clock, these are all shaped by hand.

All in all, the watch is water resistant to 12ATM (120m) and the case measures in 12 42.3mm with the height being 14mm. It can be purchased here for a price of 89,000CHF ($163,501 NZD).

Alongside this run of 20, HMC will also auction a one-off piece with proceeds going to AQUA PEARLS, a charity established by BWT to provide access to clean drinking water worldwide while alleviating poverty and promoting sustainability.
