One hundred and five years is a long time to be building motorcycles, and Moto Guzzi is marking the occasion with something more considered than a badge and a press release. The Italian brand has unveiled a dedicated 105th Anniversary special edition, available across four models, timed to coincide with the opening of its new home in Mandello del Lario.
A New Home Worth Celebrating
The new Mandello del Lario complex is the centrepiece of this announcement. Designed by American architect Greg Lynn, the site brings together a new factory, a redesigned Moto Guzzi Museum, and spaces intended for events and visitors. Piaggio Group describes it as a place to create, experiment, and experience the brand — not simply a production facility.
The 105th Anniversary edition draws its visual identity directly from that building. The livery, the colour palette, and even the contrasting details all reference the architecture and finishes of the new complex. It is an unusual approach, and a more meaningful one than most anniversary editions manage.
The Livery in Detail
All models in the range wear a dedicated grey finish with a glossy pearlescent quality. Moto Guzzi describes the shade as evoking an industrial, metallic aesthetic — which makes sense given its architectural inspiration. The grey is offset by contrasting yellow details, again drawn from the colour palette of the Mandello site.
The most distinctive touch is the 105th Anniversary graphic, which runs vertically along both sides of the fuel tank. Where the iconic Eagle badge would normally sit, the number 105 takes its place instead. The same graphic appears on the rear wheel rim. The seat features a stylised Eagle emblem and yellow contrast stitching, completing a package that is restrained but clearly intentional.
Which Models Are Included
The edition covers four bikes from the current Moto Guzzi range:
- Stelvio (including the Stelvio PFF Rider Assistance Solution variant)
- V100 Mandello
- V85 Strada
- V7 Stone
That spread is worth noting. From the V7 Stone at the accessible end of the range to the flagship V100 Mandello, the anniversary edition reaches across the lineup rather than being reserved for one prestige model. Collectors and committed Guzzisti at various price points will have the option to participate.
Availability and Timing
The 105th Anniversary edition goes on sale in October 2026 and will remain available only until the end of 2027. That window is generous enough to avoid artificial scarcity, but short enough to give the edition genuine collectability over time.
Moto Guzzi has not released pricing details beyond the standard model range, so buyers will need to contact dealers for specifics. What is clear is that this edition marks a genuine moment in the brand’s history — the opening of a new chapter at Mandello, 105 years after the first one began.
