Maserati has been on a bit of a roll recently. Their Grecale debuted earlier this year, they launched their ‘Fuoriserie‘ personalization program and their fully electric GranTurismo Folgore has taken to the streets!

Cielo is based on the new MC20 sportscar

Now, they have announced the release of another new model! This time it’s a one-off spyder called the MC20 Cielo. ‘MC’ stands for Maserati Corse, the brand’s racing division, while Cielo literally translates to ‘sky’. The name was chosen because the model’s focus remains on the joys of driving in the great outdoors! “Sky Feeling” was the exact phrase used in their marketing material. The Cielo will be produced in the same historic Modena facility as the MC20.
