Ford Ranger Raptor BiTurbo Diesel Returns

Ranger Raptor fans across New Zealand have spoken and Ford have listened! The Ford Ranger Raptor BiTurbo Diesel will return to the brand’s lineup! A key thing to note is that this 2L BiTurbo Diesel is in addition to the currently available petrol powered V6 Ranger Raptor.

Another feather in Ford Performance‘s increasingly busy cap, this BiTurbo Diesel Ranger Raptor is now available to order from any Ford dealership around the country for $86,490 + ORC + CCT. Deliveries are expected to begin as early as October this year! 150Kw of power and 500Nm of torque which is available from as low as 1,750 rpm make this a properly sporty pickup.

Euro 6 compliant, the Raptor BiTurbo Diesel also incorporates AdBlue to improve on emissions over the previous model. As you would expect from a Ranger Raptor, the truck look the part as well! Flared wheel arches, 17-inch wheels, BF-Goodrich KO2 All Terrain tyres, Ford Truck DNA, C-clamp matrix LED headlamps and the unmistakable F-O-R-D lettering across the grille all add to the feel of this Raptor.

There are a couple of other changes to the Ford Ranger lineup too with the introduction of the Ranger Sport available exclusively with the BiTurbo Diesel engine in either 4WD or 2WD guise! Ranger XL models now also come with a towbar and Integrated Brake Controller as standard.
