Ford sold more than 640,000 F-Series trucks last year, making it America’s best-selling truck once again. That roughly equates to one sold every 49 seconds! Ford also took the time to calculate that if you lined up every F-Series truck sold in 2022, you could make a 2,400 mile (3,862km) long line!
This means Ford’s F-Series is America’s best selling truck for 46 consecutive years! The achievements don’t stop there either with the truck also being America’s best-selling vehicle for 41 of those years. The F-Series’ astronomical rise to the top was attributed to its innovation, capability and performance.
F-Series is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and there have been several sales records set with the newly released fully electric F-150 Lightning and the F-Series Super Duty which has racked up 150,000 orders so far. The lineup extends all the way up to the mammoth F-750 with one key commonality being that all trucks are ‘Built Ford Tough’!
