Maserati has described their recent launch of the GranTurismo as a “resurgence” of the sub-brand but the GT range is incomplete without a GranCabrio and now, there is one!
GranCabrio prototypes have recently been spotted on the streets of Modena during testing. If you do live in Modena, you may not hear them around as the new GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be the first Tridents to offer fully electric powertrain options. The two sportscars will launch the Maserati Folgore range with the brand promising a fully electric range by 2030!
Ahead of the official launch next year, the GranCabrio prototypes are undergoing a series of road, track and variable condition testing to fine tune the model.
