While BMW was busy unveiling some headline cars at their Goodwood Festival of Speed stand in June, there was a slightly more discrete premiere taking place at the same time. This was for the ’50 Years of M’ clothing collection, worn by both staff and “influencers” who could be seen floating around the BMW stand. The first pieces were available for sale at the show itself.
Created to mark the 50th anniversary of BMW’s M or Motorsport division, the collection includes 14 difference garments. The pieces are distinguished by ’50 years of M’ badging and BMW M coloured striping. Created in conjunction with Puma, the garments bring sporty design to streetwear. The aim was to represent the unique BMW community with the slogan “We are M”.
The standard caps, jackets, hoodies and t-shirts are available of course but there’s more. BMW M 50 ‘Blaze of Glory’ shoes headline the act along with two pairs of BMW M sunglasses. There are two new ride on cars for children also available as part of the collection. BMW also teamed up with Puma earlier this year as licensing partner with both winning big at the ‘Licensing International Excellence Awards 2022’.
The 14 piece 50 years of M collection can be purchased from here.
