The weekend of June 10th to 14th this year is one of the biggest in the automotive and motorsport calendars. Why? It’s Le Mans weekend of course! And what better place for Peugeot to announce its return to a form of transport where they first made their name in back in 1886.

At Le Mans this weekend, Peugeot will debut a range of electrically assisted and non-assisted bicycles for road, gravel, mountains, city and long-distance travelling. Inspired by “French flair, riding sensations and durability”, the bicycle range promises to offer a combination of “design, performance and sustainable mobility.”

French “new-mobility” specialists Rebirth Group led the developed of these new bicycles and will also be responsible for its production which will take place at a facility in Romilly-sur-Seine which also happens to be a historic Peugeot factory! Production will begin in October this year with sales starting at the end of this year and leading into 2027.

And since Peugeot have promised their bicycles will have French flair, of course they come fitted with Michelin tyres as standard!

Don’t forget that the Total Energies Team Peugeot Sport 9X8 hypercar will also be running the races over the courses of the weekend.
