Nick Cassidy to Drive for Team Peugeot Sport at Bahrain Test

Nick Cassidy will join Team Peugeot Sport Total Energies for their ‘Rookie Test’ in Bahrain, following the conclusion of the 2025 installment of the FIA World Endurance Championship. The move marks the New Zealander’s next step towards becoming a fully fledged part of the team’s lineup for 2026.

Cassidy has already been behind the wheel of the Peugeot 9X8 hypercar with a drive back in Austin last year. This time around, he will be joined by two other rookies. Mathias Beche, an experienced endurance driver brings his “sharp technical insight” to the lineup and will be joined by Alex Quinn of England who will be driving the 9X8 for the first time. Peugeot are excited about the thought of having both a veteran driver as well as a younger talent in the fold for the testing sessions.
