Nissan Patrol Warrior – Tech meets tough

Tech meets tough in the MY24 Nissan Patrol Warrior by Premcar, with Nissan’s flagship 4WD receiving major technology updates including wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

Nissan Australia and Premcar have partnered with Victoria-based automotive supplier Directed Technologies to deliver these key updates, which begin with the local fitting of a new 10.1-inch high-definition central touchscreen, including wireless phone mirroring.

Twin USB ports (A and C) and a new wireless smartphone charging pocket provide the charging power, and the Patrol Warrior’s infotainment system also includes a host of new functionality, including iGO Street Navigation and a 1-month free subscription to Hema 4×4 Navigation.

“The Patrol Warrior by Premcar was developed in Australia specifically for Australian conditions, and to partner with another Australia-based company in Directed Technologies for these important cabin technology updates is fantastic,” says Premcar Engineering Director, Bernie Quinn.

“This modern cabin technology meets true capability in the 2024 Patrol Warrior by Premcar, and it only improves the Warrior recipe.”

Widely regarded as Australia’s most comprehensive off-road mapping service, Hema Maps was launched in 1983 with a range of printed land and marine maps.

In 1996, Hema Maps invested in new GPS technology and undertook the largest mapping expedition ever done by a private company in Australia, and since 2007, it has digitally created and updated their maps a to allow road users to navigate precisely over any terrain — urban, off-road or rugged and remote —  via its in-built application. All MY24 Patrol customers will receive a 1-month free subscription to the Hema Maps application.
