The new Volkswagen ID.7 has become the third ‘ID.’ badged EV to get the GTX treatment, following in the footsteps of the ID.4 and ID.5. GTX is a new line for Volkswagen and represents electric mobility and intelligent sportiness.
Black and red details which are part of the GTX look can be found throughout the ID.7 electric limousine. Contrast stitching, black gloss elements, black roof paint and darkened windows are just some of the elements that distinguish a GTX car from the regular version. The differences are not just cosmetic though with the GTX cars including a “vehicle dynamics manager” that controls the dual motor all wheel drive system for a sportier driving experience.
Marking its two year anniversary this year, Volkswagen’s GTX sub-brand has quickly become recognized for electric mobility, sustainability and intelligent sportiness, all of which recognize these cars as high value models within the VW family.
