Mercedes-Benz New Zealand is now launching three facelift model variants of the GLB SUV.
The spacious 7 seat GLB compact SUV comes with more extensive standard equipment, as well as a redesigned front bumper with visual underbody protection, pointing to its off-road genes. The athletic shoulder shape, with coherently modelled side graphics, creates an interesting interplay of light and shadow and a visually width-accentuated rear end. New striking full-LED headlights and rear lights also enhance the appearance.
The powertrains of the GLB 250 4MATIC and Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC are electrified: the mild hybrids are equipped with an additional 48-volt electrical system for the belt-driven starter generator. Its briefly available additional power of 10 kW supports agile starting and is used for faster acceleration via boost. The starter-generator also increases comfort: in addition to low-vibration and low-noise engine starting, it enables coasting with the combustion engine switched off.
The GLB boasts extensive standard equipment, now including previously optional equipment such as;
- AMG Line Exterior,
- Panoramic sunroof,
- 19” AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels,
- Electric/memory and heated front seats,
- Standard metallic paint.
In addition to this, the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC SUV is fitted with standard equipment including the Burmester Surround Sound System, Driving Assistance Package and AMG Night Package and more.
