Since its global launch a few years ago, Leapmotor has gone from strength to strength. A key driver behind its growth has been the C10 fully electric SUV and at the recent Auto Zurich Car Show, a new variant was added to its already popular lineup.
The Leapmotor C10 Design 81.9kWhr AWD now offers more for those “drivers who value power, versatility and intelligent control.” Now with all wheel drive, the refreshed C10 promises to deliver “high performance driving and precision handling” in the same package that has helped the brand’s surge in popularity across the globe. The recipe still remains the same as the C10 will continue to offer the technology and charging strength that has made it a favourite amongst car buyers thus far.
C10 Design now features an improved power output of 598hp with torque rated at 720Nm, promising a 0-100 kph sprint time of just four seconds! Charging is equally quick too with a 30% to 80% charge able to be completed in 22 minutes through a 180kW DC charger. Leapmotor also promises that this can be achieved without needing to preheat the batteries, offering a combination of efficiency and longevity. There’s more upgrades too with the Design AWD model featuring an improved 2K infotainment screen, digital cluster, 12-speaker audio system and a panoramic glass roof.
