Breitling has released a green-dialled Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 and a mint Navitimer 32 in steel and 18k yellow gold, sold in the US only through Watches of Switzerland.
Gold and a pilot’s tool watch don’t always sit well together. Breitling plainly disagrees, and it is using green to make its case.
The brand has released two Navitimer models in a new two-tone mix of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 (Ref. DB01381A1L1D1) has a deep green dial. The Navitimer 32 (Ref. D77320E71L1D1) comes in mint green. Both went on sale in the US on 22 October 2026, and only Watches of Switzerland sells them.

Familiar Codes, Warmer Materials
The Navitimer has kept the same core design since 1952. That means a circular slide rule, a notched bezel, three chronograph counters and the AOPA wings at 12 o’clock.
On these versions, the bezel and the centre bracelet links are 18k yellow gold, set against brushed and polished steel. The gold makes an instrument built for cockpit calculations feel warmer. Haute Time’s coverage also argued that green suits two-tone better than the usual black or blue, because the gold looks deliberate rather than flashy.
The Chronograph: Caliber 01 on Show
The B01 Chronograph 43 pairs its green dial with gilt baton indexes and gold-toned hands and subdials. The case is 43mm wide and 13.69mm thick. Water resistance is only 30 metres, so it suits the boardroom better than the beach.
Inside is the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, the brand’s in-house, COSC-certified self-winding chronograph movement. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of around 70 hours. In practice, you can leave it in a drawer over a weekend and it should still be running on Monday.
The chronograph times to a quarter of a second, with 30-minute and 12-hour counters. You can see the movement through the sapphire caseback.

The Navitimer 32: Smaller and More Jewellery-Like
The smaller model takes the design somewhere softer. Its 32mm two-tone case holds a mint green sunburst dial with diamond hour markers. Water resistance goes up to 50 metres.
In place of the chronograph’s slide rule, the Navitimer 32 has a fluted gold bezel. It still looks like part of the family but should suit a slimmer wrist far better. Breitling lists the movement as its caliber 77.
One detail needs checking, though. Breitling’s fact sheet gives the thickness as 13.69mm, exactly the same as the 43mm chronograph. If you care how a watch sits under a cuff, confirm that figure in store.
Pricing and Availability
Both watches come on matching bracelets in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold. US pricing is:
- Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43: US$17,500
- Navitimer 32: US$9,450
Watches of Switzerland is the only US retailer for both.
Why the Pairing Matters
Breitling hasn’t released one special edition here but a matched set. One is a full-size pilot’s chronograph and the other is a smaller sibling in the same colours. Selling them side by side means the two could easily share one watch box, and that makes a 1952 aviation instrument look a lot like jewellery.
