Bar raised with new Lexus ES 300h Crafted Edition

Lexus New Zealand raises the bar with new ES 300h Crafted Edition added to its line-up. There is just a
dozen crafted for New Zealand and no more. Ever.

While they are relatively rare on local roads, more than three million Lexus ES have been sold around the
world, so there is clearly something special about this luxury sedan. It is the second most popular Lexus
model, running closely behind the RX SUV with 3.6m units sold globally.

The ES 300h Crafted Edition takes the improved model of August 2022 and raises the bar another level
with the addition of a superbly crafted interior, hand-made in the Takumi tradition of Lexus, and other
refinements.

Vice President of Lexus New Zealand, Andrew Davis, says the ES 300h Crafted Edition is for discerning
customers who want a car with the carbon and fuel efficiency of a hybrid system matched with the long
wheelbase and interior comfort of a luxury tourer.

Since first appearing in 1989, the ES has established itself as a core model in the E-premium segment,
attracting private and business drivers alike. The model has been praised widely for its luxurious and
spacious cabin, class-leading comfort, exceptional quietness, refined ride, and intuitive driving behaviour.
The current generation ES is built on Lexus’ acclaimed Global Architecture – K (GA-K) platform, which
gave designers the opportunity to explore the limits of sedan design with ‘provocative elegance’. The long wheelbase enables the wheels to be pushed close to the corners, with wider front and rear treads, while the platform also allows for a low bonnet and sweeping coupé roofline.

The ES 300h Crafted Edition receives all the interior improvements on the ES 300h Premium grade. In
addition, the Crafted Edition features a unique crimson leather accented interior, black walnut
ornamentation on the steering wheel, doors and upper instrument panel; as well as ambient interior lighting.

In addition to the badge changes introduced to all other variants, the Crafted Edition features unique black and machine faced 15-spoke 18” alloys, a chrome side garnish beneath the doors, and a silver front spindle grille. It is available in three exterior colours: Titanium, Sonic Shade, and Graphite Black.

Lexus ES 300h Crafted Edition is in stock in New Zealand and available for immediate delivery. The Lexus
ES Crafted Edition is priced at RSP $79,900 and eligible for a $2,696.55 Clean Car Discount if
registered before 1 July.
