The independent authority on vehicle safety, ANCAP has awarded Isuzu’s seven seater MU-X with a 5 star rating! This means that both models in the brand’s lineup now sport a perfect score, excelling in all four parameters of the test.
ANCAP’s CEO, Carla Hoorweg commended Isuzu on their success and reiterated the importance of safety in large family vehicles like the MU-X.

ANCAP’s report pointed out the full suite of airbags, driver monitoring system and advanced seatbelt warnings for three rows of seating that made the MU-X stand out. This is a big boost for a new SUV that only went on sale last month.
Due to the similar underpinnings shared by the MU-X SUV and D-Max ute, the learnings from the D-Max’s successful ANCAP tests last year were carried over.
