Abarth and Breil have presented a new chronograph watch inspired by the Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally, a car that paid tribute to the iconic Abarth 131 Rally car. The Scorpion’s racing DNA is very much present in this timepiece. It even features a silhouette of the 131 etched into the back of the watch!
This notion of “stylistic Easter Eggs” is also present in the Abarth 695 Tributo which features the 131 silhouette hidden in parts of the car to surprise customers! The 3-D design of the watch’s bezel also takes inspiration from the car’s 17-inch alloy wheels. A design quirk that is highlighted by gold inserts, gold also features on the hour markers as luminous details. The hands are semi-skeletonized and luminous too with the sharp Abarth logo sitting proudly at the 12 o’clock mark! Abarth’s unmistakable scorpion sits alongside the Breil logo to affirm the collaboration between the two brands.
The Abarth Breil chronograph is powered by an Epson VR3G movement and is waterproof to 10 metres. It comes with a black stainless steel strap and carbon tipped hour markers for true sportiness. Check out the watch here.
