2022 is an incredibly significant year for French car manufacturer Renault as they commemorate 50 years since the launch of the Renault 5. Yes, that iconic hatchback has turned 50! To mark the occasion, Renault have planned a host of surprises with the latest one being a fully electric show car.
As part of the celebrations, Renault has created a fully electric modern day tribute to the 5. Taking inspiration from video games as well as the original 5, expect this thunderbolt to officially break cover on September 22nd. While that is the digital release, fans can also experience this electric 5 at Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille on September 24th & 25th.
Most importantly, the electric Renault 5 will also take pride of place at the Paris Motor Show in October.
