Polestar and CAKE, two premium electric mobility brands hailing from Sweden have come together for their second collaboration. It comes in the form of a limited Polestar edition electric moped. Called the Makka, it’s painted in the same blue as the Polestar electric roadster concept.
The two brands first collaborated in early 2021 with the original CAKE Makka Polestar edition. Painted in the Polestar Snow matte colour, it sold out almost instantly. Colour aside, the special electric moped came with a slim headlight as well as Ohlins dampers, a name normally found in high end performance vehicles!
However, the second limited edition moped brings a few more additions. There is a detachable rear carrier for improved practicality, riders can either add cargo boxes or even a seat in its place!
With a top speed of 45kph, the Makka can split its power delivery to be either more efficient or offer more performance based on the two drive modes. Sold exclusively by CAKE, the Polestar edition Makka is available in select markets from the Polestar webshop at $5,300 USD.
