Following a global preview at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year, Ford has added the Mustang Mach-E Rally to the Mach-E family. It becomes the first ever rally inspired EV from Ford, also becoming the first Mustang to embrace the dirt and tarmac!

Mach-E Rally is Ford’s first rally inspired EV

Featuring a tuned version of the powertrain seen in the Mach-E GT, the twin motor set-up now puts out 880Nm of torque and 358kW of power from a 91kWhr usable battery! Suspension height has been raised by 20mm and features unique MagneRide shocks. The Brembo brakes at the front are now 385mm for extra stopping power.

Plenty of technology improvements feature both inside and out.

19inch rally style alloy wheels painted in white are shod in Michelin CrossClimate2 tyres with larger sidewalls and improved loose surface grip. For all the incoming gravel, there is protective shielding for the motors with the door cladding and arches also receiving extra protection.

On the tech front, there is a ‘RallySport Drive Mode’, the first time this has ever been implemented. The new mode allows for bigger slides, smoother throttle response and aggressive damping to make the Mach-E Rally a good fit for snow, gravel and any other slippery conditions.

The unique additions extend to the bodywork too with the Mach-E Rally featuring a Focus RS inspired spoiler, new body mouldings, a front splitter and a front fascia with rally inspired fog-lights. Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, Eruption Green and Grabber Yellow are all available as standard with Star White and Glacier Gray being optional extras.

Orders open in early 2024 with deliveries beginning soon after.
