It’s official, production of the 6.2 litre supercharged V8 powered RAM 1500 TRX will end later this year. To give this iconic machine a fitting send-off, RAM will produce a special Final Edition with 2024 noted as the model year.
Only 4,000 units of the RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition will be made. With 702bhp on tap and 880Nm of torque, this is no ordinary pickup truck! Those are outrageous figures but worthy of such a vehicle because it was the 1500 TRX that cemented RAM Trucks as “North America’s off-road truck leader”.
There are plenty of changes both inside and out with three new colour options available including ‘Delmonico Red’, ‘Night Edge Blue’ and ‘Harvest Sunrise’. The wheels are Satin Titanium bead-lock capable units and are painted to match the 6.2 litre badge on the bonnet.
It’s a similar story on the interior with ‘Patina’ stitching added for contrast as well as TRX logos on the seat backs and plenty of matte carbon fibre. A centre console badge displays the build number while the passenger side TRX badge is also finished in Satin Titanium. Completing the interior package is a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system too!
Returning to the mechanical upgrades, TRX Final Edition will do the 0-100 sprint in 4.5 seconds and completed the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds! This is a properly ferocious machine!
Sales are already open so chat your local RAM dealer now if you want one!
