To mark the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring, BMW M has announced plans for the exclusive “100 Jahre Nürburgring” edition. Comprising a range of six BMW M high-performance models, the edition pays tribute to a place that stands like no other for driving dynamics, precision and performance.
The edition includes the BMW M2, BMW M3 Sedan, BMW M3 Touring, BMW M4 Coupé, BMW M5 Sedan and BMW M5 Touring. The anniversary edition has been confirmed for New Zealand, with further details regarding models, local availability, timing and specifications to be announced at a later date.
A defining feature of all six anniversary models is the exclusive Nürburgring Green paint finish, developed specifically for the edition and complemented by edition-specific design details. The edition tagline “Born on the Racetrack.
Made for the Streets.” captures the essence of the edition, highlighting the transfer of motorsport expertise and technology into high-performance road vehicles.

A design concept inspired by the Green Hell.
The design concept incorporates the “100 Years” logo, the “Nürburgring since 1927” wording and the silhouette of the Nordschleife. Nürburgring Green serves as the visual link across all six edition models, complemented by model-specific graphics, materials and accent colours.
Edition graphics appear on the front doors, C-pillar, and rear side sections depending on the model. Exclusive roof graphics further distinguish the edition.
On the BMW M2, BMW M3 Sedan, BMW M4 Coupé, and BMW M5 Sedan, the design extends the M carbon roof, while the BMW M3 Touring and BMW M5 Touring feature the design on their steel roofs. Light grey, Nürburgring Green and black form the colour palette, complementing by model-specific green accents on the wheels and kidney grille surrounds. Alternatively, the edition models are also available in Black Sapphire metallic.

The compact entry into the edition combines an inline six-cylinder engine, short proportions, and a consistently driver-focused character. M carbon roof, M carbon bucket seats, exclusive paintwork, and specific graphics emphasise its connection to the Nordschleife.
BMW M3 Sedan.
It combines everyday usability, precision, and racetrack competence. Nürburgring graphics, M carbon roof, and green accents on the wheels define the edition’s appearance.
BMW M3 Touring.
The M3 Touring combines the driving dynamics of the BMW M3 model series with high versatility. Within the anniversary edition, it represents the unique combination of high performance, versatility and Nürburgring expertise.
BMW M4 Coupé.
As a two-door performance icon, the BMW M4 Coupé delivers an especially focused sporty character. Its M Carbon roof, BMW M stripes and exclusive anniversary edition details reinforce its motorsport pedigree.
BMW M5 Sedan.
Powered by the advanced M HYBRID drivetrain, the BMW M5 Sedan combines powerful performance with everyday usability. Styling 951 M wheels with green accents, and black Nordschleife embroidery create distinctive anniversary highlights.

The BMW M5 Touring combines the M HYBRID drivetrain with impressive versatility. Its exclusive roof graphics with stripes provide a model-specific interpretation of the anniversary edition’s design language.
