The French Open is one of the tennis calendar’s halo events, played on Paris’ famous clay courts, its charm is undeniable. This year’s edition will run from 18th of May to the 7th of June and in the lead up to the tournament, Renault has unveiled a special edition 4 E-Tech to mark their fifth time supporting the event!

The Renault 4 Roland Garros E-Tech will make its debut at Roland Garros, in front of the stadium’s Renault stand where it will be joined by the new Twingo E-Tech and Renault 5 E-Tech. In fact, the French manufacturer are providing a fleet of 188 vehicles for the tournament, 88% of it electrified! The fleet is mostly made up of Scenic E-Techs and Rafale hyper hybrid E-Techs with electric autonomous shuttles also taking spectators between Porte d’Auteuil and the village.

Painted in ‘Glacier White’ and complimented by ‘Parisienne Black’ highlights, the special edition Renault 4 will be joined by a similarly hued Renault 5, both featuring ‘Terracotta Brown’ accents as a nod to Roland Garros’ iconic clay courts. The unique vehicles will be joined by Lois Boisson, French No.1, Arthur Fils, French No.2 and Flavio Cobolli, Italian No.2 in a series of commercials ahead of the tournaments. Argentine Francisco Cerundolo will also feature in Renault Boreal commercials which will air in the respective markets where the vehicle is on sale.
