Class-leading Peugeot Partner now available in NZ

PRESS RELEASE

Peugeot New Zealand is expanding its offering in the van market, announcing details of a new
international award-winning model which offers best-in-class features and attributes.

“There is an increasing demand for van-based solutions and we are signalling our intentions to re-
enter this small but growing segment,” said CEO of Auto Distributors New Zealand, Chris Brown.
“The new Peugeot Partner is a slightly smaller option compared with our larger Expert van and, for
businesses in and around CBD’s, it’s a multi-functional product which presents a viable, attainable
and practical alternative.

“The Partner is a functional, desirable and specification-loaded model, as evidenced by it winning a
slew of international awards and accolades, and it has enjoyed strong sales success especially in
Europe.

“It will be sure to attract new van owners with best-in-class payload, high levels of standard safety
and comfort, as well as multiple loading configurations, all of which are complemented by Peugeot’s
acclaimed i-Cockpit® design, interior comfort and all-round quality.”

Although too early to release many details, Mr Brown also revealed there will be an all-electric
Partner van option in the new year.

“The e-Partner will be available in both Short and Long Wheelbase, will offer the same dimensions
and cargo capacity as the Partner ICE model, have an anticipated range of 275km* and will qualify
for the Clean Car^ rebate,” said Mr Brown. (*to be confirmed; ^correct at time of writing)

“It is very exciting for us to have the electric version to look forward to, in the meantime our focus is
on the successful launch of the petrol-powered Partner.”

The new Peugeot Partner debuts with a string of titles to its name, including 2019 International Van
of the Year, Irish Van of the Year 2020 and Best Overall Small Van in the What Car? Van Awards
2021.

The cabin environment of the Partner is distinctly Peugeot and displays car-like levels of interior
appointment and styling. The inclusion of the unique Peugeot i-Cockpit® delivers exclusive, high-
quality and refined instruments and controls, such as the head-up instrument panel.

A dual-flat section compact steering wheel enhances the driving experience and a large eight-inch
central touchscreen, angled towards the driver for ease of operation, aligns the new Partner van
with technology found across the passenger vehicle range.

Further features found in the Partner van include smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto), as well as a plethora of safety and parking aids such as Electronic Stability
Programme and Hill Start Assist, Active Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Lane
Departure Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring System.

One significant area where the new Partner differs from the other models in the van segment, is the
inclusion of the Multiflex system. Multiflex consists of a two-seat passenger bench with folding outer seat, which allows for a pivoting writing table on the central seat. Furthermore, in addition to 113L storage volume across multiple compartments in the vehicle, there is an additional large area under the central seat. Large items such as lap-tops and 1.5-litre drink bottles can be stored in various cubbyholes. A load-through hatch in the bulkhead, together with a load protection cover, complete the interior fit out.

The Partner offers a best-in-class loading space of up to 4.4 cubic metres and both models can
accommodate two pallets with a payload of up to 1,000kg.

Unheralded practicality is achieved courtesy of rear-barn doors which open 180-degrees to assist
loading, while further accessibility is aided by the standard inclusion of two side-mounted sliding
doors.

Both the Standard and the Long Wheelbase variants are fitted with the same powerful, clean and
award-winning 1.2-litre PureTech 130 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine which is capable of creating
96kW of power and 230Nm of torque.

An eight-speed automatic transmission with Start and Stop fuel-saving technology contributes to a
combined fuel consumption of an impressive 6.7-litres/ 100km, carbon emissions are 151g CO2km
and the Partner meets Euro 6d emission standard. Thanks to its neutral band emissions ranking, it
does not attract a Clean Car penalty.

The Peugeot Partner is available from $45,990 for the Standard model, while the Long Wheelbase
model has a maximum retail price of $48,990. Both configurations offer a five-year/100,000km mechanical warranty and five-year/100,000km roadside assistance as standard. A range of extended warranty options are available if required, as well as the availability of service plans.
