Triumph keeps 2027 release momentum with new Tiger and Street Triple models

If you thought Triumph’s 2027 calendar of releases was Bonneville heavy, think again. To mix things up, there are also four new models coming across the Tiger 1200, Tiger 900 and Street Triple ranges, alongside the new Bonneville T40 we wrote about recently. While the T40 has grabbed the headlines, the updates landing on Triumph’s existing adventure and naked ranges are just as significant for riders already in those categories.

Triumph is staggering the reveals between late October and mid-December, with each range getting its own moment:

Tiger 1200 (27 October 2026) gets an updated 1200cc triple tuned for more performance and refinement, paired with what Triumph calls the most sophisticated suspension package it’s ever fitted to a production motorcycle. Teaser images also point to a visually distinct update, not “just” a running-change refresh.

Street Triple 798 (17 November 2026) carries the most unexpected story of the three: it’s built around a new 798cc engine developed alongside Triumph’s Moto2™ championship program for 2027. Triumph has confirmed this generation will be its most performance focused Street Triple yet, pushing the naked sports range closer to its race bred roots, a big shake up for the roady middleweight.

Tiger 900 (15 December 2026) rounds out the cycle with a more powerful and refined engine, an upgraded chassis, improved rider aids and next gen connectivity as standard, bringing the adventure bike’s running gear closer in line with its bigger 1200cc sibling. Such a sweet spot, this.

Both the Tiger 1200 and Street Triple 798 will also get public floor time at EICMA and Motorcycle Live, putting them in front of two of the biggest European show crowds of the season. These updates point to a genuine engine-and-chassis push across Triumph’s adventure and naked line ups, and show commitment to the most important nameplates in the brands stable. Great to see!
