With the Elroq’s recent win, Skoda now have 18 Red Dot Design Awards collectively with notable previous winners including the fourth generation Fabia in 2022 and Enyaq iV in 2021. Awarded for ‘Outstanding Product Design’ in a car, Elroq is already off to a strong start, being the brand’s second ever production EV.
Officially, the Elroq is the first Skoda to fully implement the brand’s ‘Modern Solid’ design philosophy, made up of “robustness, functionality and authenticity.” The judging panel foor this year’s Red Dot competition included 43 experts from 21 countries, many of whom were impressed with the Elroq’s ‘Tech Deck Face’ and ‘Dark Chrome’ features.
Elroq hasn’t just impressed in its design but also in sales with Skoda recording more than 45,000 orders placed to date!
