Nissan New Zealand has released further details on the all-new Patrol, confirming gains in passenger space, cargo capacity and towing capability across the range. The changes target one thing above all: making the big SUV work harder for families.
According to Nissan, the new Patrol offers more space and comfort across all three rows of seating, a claimed 2,749 litres of maximum cargo capacity, and a 3,700kg braked towing rating on every model in the lineup.
More Room in Every Row
Nissan says the redesigned interior brings noticeably more legroom in the second row, along with a larger third row than before. For a vehicle that spends much of its life ferrying kids, gear and the odd extended family road trip, that extra room in the back seats matters more than most headline figures.
Nissan Oceania Managing Director Steve Milette said the improvements go beyond styling and powertrain changes, with particular focus placed on passengers and families. He said the Patrol has long been valued locally for its space, comfort and versatility, and that the new model pushes those qualities further.
