With the new Ypsilon signaling the start of Lancia’s resurgence, the Gamma becomes its next step. The new SUV (yes, SUV) has been entirely designed, engineered and developed in Italy. This inherent Italian pride goes one step further as the vehicle will also be made at Stellantis’ plant in Melfi, one its most advanced facilities!
Based on the STLA Medium platform, the Gamma has been dubbed a “crossover fastback” with a length of 4.67m, width of 1.89m and a height of 1.66m, it is promising to offer a combination of “efficiency, functionality and strong road presence.” Powertrain options on offer include a 145hp hybrid with a claimed combined range of 1,000km as well as a few EVs which include the 230HP (540km range), 245HP (740km range) and the range topping 375HP AWD (675km range).
Orders will open at the end of the upcoming European summer with more details to be shared along the way.
