The groundbreaking show, helmed by respected New Zealand motor industry Professionals Dave McLeod, Matthew D’Souza and Harry de Souza, has captured the imagination of Kiwi car enthusiasts by delivering a perfect blend of new vehicle reviews, stunning local getaways, insider industry interviews, and international launch coverage—all served with a distinctive dose of humour, educational value and don’t forget the bloopers.
Since launching mid-2025, the Tarmac Life TV Show has proven to be a ratings powerhouse, with Sky Channel 83 reporting approximately 200,000 monthly views and the show consistently securing a coveted top-five position in viewer rankings. This success has then been replicated on Tarmac Life’s YouTube Channel.
“We made it to Episode 20 for the first season, which was a huge effort from all involved,” says co-host Dave McLeod, who acknowledges the ambitious nature of the debut season while expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from both viewers and the New Zealand motoring industry.
