It’s a special year for Alfa Romeo as the storied Italian brand is celebrating 116 years since its birth. The perfect occasion to announce a new car then as it turns out! Earlier in the month, Emanuele Cappellano, COO of Stellantis Enlarged Europe unveiled a teaser image of the brand’s upcoming c-segment SUV.
As part of Stellantis’ ‘Fastlane 2030 plan, Alfa Romeo will introduce a new c-segment SUV based on the ‘STLA Medium’ platform. Unsurprisingly, the plan is for this new vehicle to sport “multi-energy powertrains”, just as well then because it will be competing in one of the busiest segments of the automotive market!
Italian through and through, this SUV was designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in Torino, the same studio that gave us the drop dead gorgeous 33 Stradale by the way! It will be manufactured at Alfa’s plant in Melfi, Italy and an official unveiling will take place at the end of 2027.
