Thrilling debut: All-new MG HS SUV unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed and headed for New Zealand.
There is excitement building for the all-new MG HS in New Zealand after its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The global reveal brings an enhanced dedication to MG’s craftsmanship, technology, and performance, continuing to solidify its position in the SUV segment since 2019 for Kiwi motorists.

Designed and built from the ground-up, MG Motor New Zealand Country Manager, Arek Zywot,
said New Zealanders have a lot to be excited about with the new model.
“The HS continues to drive positive brand momentum, year-over-year for us globally and locally,” he
said.

“The MG HS has been embraced by New Zealand families since its arrival, and the latest HS promises to redefine expectations once again. The new HS continues MG’s commitment to versatility and innovation, with local specifications to be announced at launch in the second half of this year.
“Compared to the outgoing model, the new MG HS is 14mm wider (at 1,890mm) and 26mm longer
(at 4,636mm), yet its sleek new profile reduces its overall height by some 30mm. The wheelbase has
been lengthened by 30mm to 2,750mm, creating a more dynamic cabin.

“As we all know with kids and babies, boot space is essential. The new HS has plenty of space for the
highchair, pram, balance bike, baby seat and luggage when you ditch the daily commute to go for a
road trip.
“The technology offering has evolved with the HS featuring two prominent 12.3-inch high-definition
displays alongside and much more that we’ll be sure to share closer to launch.”

While specific local specifications are yet to be confirmed, one thing remains certain: the all-new HS
is poised to offer New Zealanders an exhilarating driving experience coupled with exceptional value
backed by a seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty and roadside assistance.
