It’s official, Lotus is now on the stock market! The famous NASDAQ bell was rung on Friday morning by Lotus Technology to celebrate its public listing. The company’s ADS’ (American Depositary Shares) have opened for trading on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol ‘LOT’.

The listing was made official after the firm’s agreement with L Catterton Asia Acquisition Corp (LCAA), an acquisition company and leading consumer-focused investment firm. CEO Qingfeng Feng was joined by executive members from both Lotus and LCAA for the milestone event. The goal of which is to help Lotus further its goal of becoming an “advanced, fully electric, intelligent and sustainable luxury mobility provider”.
