Lamborghini has continued its fruitful partnership with the Dubai Police by supplying them with their latest recruit. Delivered officially in 2023 to mark 60 years of Lamborghini, the Urus Performante becomes the latest ‘Raging Bull’ to join the Force.
The handover was done at the Dubai Airshow by Paolo Sartori, Head of Lamborghini for Middle East and Africa. He handed the keys to Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, acting commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police.
Dubai Police have had a Urus in the fleet since 2022 but the Performante will not only add to the fold to carry out public duties but will also help “enhance the city’s security and safety”.
However, the car in question is no ordinary Urus Performante if there was such a thing! It has been equipped with several modifications to make it fit for Police duty. The most obvious of these come in the form of a blue light bar, green & white Police livery and an electric siren. An armoured gun box, message display and defibrillator are also fitted!
