Honda New Zealand is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its Type R Pavilion situated at Honda Store Newmarket in Auckland.
For Honda, Type R is the pinnacle of all its years of research and development in motoring sport. Honda has a long history of creating sporty yet practical motor vehicles while always adopting its “Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum” philosophy.
2022 marks important anniversaries for Honda; 50th anniversary for Civic, 30th anniversary for Type R, 25th anniversary for the first global Civic Type R, and the launch of the brand new Civic Type R FL5 in New Zealand.
For a first of its kind in New Zealand, we are celebrating the launch of the Type R Pavilion with a Grand Opening from 2nd to 4th December.
“We would like to thank all our Honda fans and invite you to come and celebrate with us” says Mr. Nobuya Sonoda, Managing Director, Honda New Zealand Ltd.
During this event, the new Civic Type R FL5, which is scheduled for a summer 2022 release, will be on display.
“We will have our Honda Heritage collection on display which includes a number of Type R models, including the first 1997 Civic Type R.” says Mr. Sonoda. “We are also excited to host a live auction for a Civic Type R FK8 on Saturday 3rd December at 1pm. There will also be a number of other promotions available during this event.”
