Now seven time winners of the prestigious European ‘Car Of The Year‘ award, Renault were presented with the award at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week. Following a first-round of voting, seven finalist were shortlisted, comprising of the BMW 5-Series, BYD Seal, KIA EV9, Toyota C-HR, Volvo EX30, Peugeot 3008 and the Renault of course!

Chosen by 58 motor journalists from 22 countries, Scenic won the trophy after collecting 329 points. Previous winners from the Renault stables include the ’06 Clio, ’03 Megane, ’97 Scenic, ’91 Clio, ’82 9 and ’66 16! Based on the medium-sized AmpR platform, Scenic weighs in at under 1900kg and can do 625 kilometres WLTP on a full charge! Entry level price will arrive under 40,000 Euros and order books are already open with the firs deliveries set to take place soon!
