Staying true to their ‘Safety for All’ motto, yet another Volkswagen has received a full 5 stars from Euro NCAP for its crash safety. Constantly improving its vehicle safety, VW’s new car features a host of safety technology that raises the bar for the German brand, across the board.

Four broad tests were conducted on the Tayron, assessing the car for its ‘Adult Occupant Protection’, ‘Child Occupant Protection’, ‘Vulnerable Road User Protection’ and the support provided by driver assist/accident protection systems.
Credit for the Tayron’s achievement belongs to technologies like Lane Assist, Side Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Driver Attention Monitor and swerve support. However, the Tayron also includes an ‘Emergency Call Service’ which is valid for 10 years from the car’s delivery, the curtain airbags protect the front and rear occupants while an automatic seat belt tensioner system keep the back seat safe.
Sitting between the Tiguan and Touareg, Tayron offers seven seats across three rows, a high quality interior and is available in either, petrol, diesel or PHEV variants, for those safety and environmentally conscious.
