There are but a few manufacturers out there who could hold a candle to the motorsport success and competitiveness that Lotus Cars has had. “For the Drivers” is what defines the brand and now, the Hethel based outfit are returning to global competitions and motorsport!

With more than 75 years of knowledge taken from the racetrack, ‘Team Lotus’ is a renaissance of sorts for the brand which will spur motorsport initiatives and activities. Factory backed teams, partner racing teams, Lotus Cup championships, professional driver development and race fans will now have one home for everything to do with Lotus’ Motorsport.
Team Lotus’ rebirth will begin with its existing base of partner teams and customers. The Emira GT4 is already participating in a number of global events in 2025 through teams like Mahiki Racing in Britain, Pegasus Racing In China and PB Racing in Italy. From there, Team Lotus will look to “re-establish” its foundations in the world of motorsport and racing as it had done so for over 75 years previously! Is a return to F1 on the cards even?

To celebrate the occasion, a fresh livery has been created for the Emira GT4. Decked out in Lotus yellow, the design takes inspiration from the brand’s past so as to inspire the future!
