From Nostalgia to Innovation in Commercial Vehicles
Renault is plugging into its rich history while charging full speed ahead into the future of commercial vehicles. The French automaker has announced a triumvirate of electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) that promise to revolutionise the delivery van segment, all while giving a cheeky nod to its storied past.

The Three Musketeers of Modern Mobility
Leading this electric cavalry is the Estafette E-Tech, a contemporary reboot of Renault’s beloved 1960s van that transported everything from baguettes to bohemians across France. This compact urban warrior, measuring just 5.27m in length, features a cleverly designed three-piece panoramic windscreen that makes navigating city streets less of a medieval quest and more of a modern pleasure.

Not to be outdone, the Goelette E-Tech electric emerges as the Swiss Army knife of the trio. Available in three flavors – chassis cab, box, and tipper – this versatile vehicle carries forward the spirit of its 1956 ancestor, ready to tackle whatever 21st-century commerce throws at it.
Completing the trinity is the Trafic E-Tech electric, the fourth generation of a van that’s been faithfully serving businesses since 1980. With over 2.5 million units produced, it’s like the reliable friend who always shows up to help you move – now with zero emissions.

Tech That Would Make Tony Stark Proud
These vans aren’t just pretty faces with electric hearts. Built on Ampere’s cutting-edge SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) architecture, they’re rolling computers with cargo space. The new “skateboard” platform offers virtually infinite customization possibilities while promising reduced running costs – because saving the planet shouldn’t mean bankrupting your business.

Made in France, Built for Tomorrow
All three vehicles will roll off the assembly line at Renault’s Sandouville plant starting in 2026, representing a collaboration between Renault Group, Volvo Group, and CMA CGM Group through their joint venture, Flexis.
The Bottom Line

In an era where “going green” is no longer optional, Renault’s new electric LCV lineup proves that functionality and sustainability can coexist beautifully. With these three new models, Renault isn’t just delivering packages – it’s delivering on the promise of a cleaner, more efficient future for commercial transport.
