Honda Racing Corporation or HRC for short has begun its first round of shakedown tests for the new Civic Type R-GT. Scheduled for a 2024 debut in the GT500 class of the Super GT Series, the testing site is the Okayama International Circuit in Japan.

Embodying the “ultimate pure sports performance” spirit, the Civic Type R was an enthusiasts dream, in the same way the HRC developed Civic Type R-GT is a dedicated racing machine. Featuring state of the art aerodynamics, a must for any winner of this top category of automobile races in Japan. Powered by a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder that has been tinkered by HRC, this is no ordinary Civic Type R!
