The 40th edition of Mille Miglia has come to a close. Dubbed the “most beautiful race in the world”, the last leg goes from Parma to Brescia and concluded with a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Zagato taking the chequered flag.

Alfa Romeo was represented at this year's Mille Miglia by both vintage and modern cars.

The race’s last leg passes through Varano De’ Melegari racetrack and Monza Circuit which is celebrating its 100th year anniversary. It runs from Brescia to Rome and back again with locals giving warm welcomes to all of the racers along the way! Informally known as the “travelling museum”, this year’s race also brought curious eyes thanks to the inclusion of Alfa Romeo‘s new Tonale SUV. Tonale provided support for the race as it bypassed showrooms where the car can now be ordered and admired by the Alfa’s “tribe” of fans!
