In what is perhaps the most unsurprising piece of news this year, Euro NCAP have awarded a maximum 5-star rating to the fully-electric Volvo EX30. The brand have been the hallmark of automotive safety and with the EX30 being the smallest SUV to come from Volvo, this is another feather in their cap!

Fully electric Volvo EX30 SUV scores maximum five-star rating in latest Euro NCAP safety tests

Scoring a maximum of 5-stars in the latest Euro NCAP tests means that the EX30 doesn’t just excel at occupant safety but also that of the external environment. This success is thanks in part to Volvo’s real-world accident research that spans over 50 years. The brand use this to test their cars for situations that go far beyond what the tests measure.

‘Advanced driver alert’ is standard as well as ‘intersection auto brake’, ‘automatic brake intervention’ and a ‘door opening alert’ to make sure that the EX30 keeps everyone safe.
