When it comes to their icons, Fiat don’t mess around. In fact, production of the new generation 500 has already begun and they are aiming for 5,000 units by the end of the year! Representing a “new chapter in Fiat’s journey”, the new 500 hybrid resurrects the marque’s heritage, combining it with the latest in technology. As always, it’s also a celebration of “timeless beauty and soul of Italian design.”

The other big piece of news is that production of the 500 has returned to Fiat’s Mirafiori in Turin, which at full capacity is expected to put out 100,000 units annually. A connection to its hometown is strengthened by a special ‘Torino’ launch series which can be had alongside the Pop, Icon or La Prima models.

Described as “essential, stylish and functional”, the Pop is the entry point into the 500 Hybrid range while the Icon is the next step up, incorporating more technology and comfort. Icon builds on Fiat’s most “fashionable hybrid city car” while staying true to its roots.
La Prima is the range topping hybrid, adding premium materials/finishes and exclusive features while keeping that lovable nature that has made the 500 so adored since its production began in 1957!
